First, Second and Third graders participated in a creative writing club run by Mrs. Cook and Ms. Silva at MKG. Their  final product was publishing a hard cover book. The first week included brainstorming an idea for a book and discussing the different part of a book. Weeks 2-4 consisted of creating the rough draft version of the book. Week 5 was an editing week. And weeks 6-8 consisted of students creating their final draft pages. The finished product was a hard cover copy of a story written and illustrated by them.
